Retiring Legacy Pricing Plans on January 1st, 2026
On January 1st, 2026, we will be retiring our legacy pricing plans. To ensure consistency across our platform and provide access to our latest infrastructure, all customers currently on legacy tiers will be automatically migrated to our current, simplified pricing plans.
How do I know if I am on a legacy plan?
You can verify your current plan status in the dashboard:
- Log in to your thirdweb Dashboard.
- Navigate to the Billing section of your team settings.
- Look at your current plan name. If you see the word “Legacy” next to your plan title, this update applies to you.
What is changing?
Effective January 1st, 2026, your subscription will automatically migrate to the modern equivalent of your current tier. You will keep your existing invoice cycle dates.
Note: You can also select your new plan prior to this date by visiting the Billing section of your dashboard.
High-Level Plan Changes:
- Starter (Legacy): Will migrate to the current $5 Starter plan.
- Growth (Legacy): All $79 and $99 legacy variants will move to the current $99 Growth plan.
- Scale (Legacy): Will migrate to the current Scale plan ($499/mo). Your base monthly price remains the same; updates apply only to usage-based pricing metrics.
- Accelerate (Legacy): Will migrate to the current Scale plan ($499/mo)
- To help with this transition, Accelerate customers will have a 50% off coupon automatically applied to their accounts for 3 months.
Update for Annual Contracts: If you are currently on an annual legacy contract, your subscription will be converted to a monthly billing cycle. Your first bill following the transition will show a refund for the prorated amount remaining on your existing annual plan.
